Job summary

Sika in Acworth, GA is seeking a Shipper Receiver who will operate a forklift and handle receipt, storage, and shipment of materials. You will pull finished product from inventory, assemble orders, and prepare shipments in line with company policy and customer requests, under the supervision of Plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to meet certification requirements following company training program in forklift operation.
• Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Must be flexible to work any shift and overtime as necessary.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; ability to motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound material including finished product from other locations and transfers to storage locations.
• Pull finished product from inventory, assemble orders and prepare for shipment in accordance with company policy and customer requests.
• Select, pack and wrap product to be shipped and count and examine materials to verify against documents.
• Match material against bills of lading and use bar Code Scanner to achieve inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and transfer materials between departments and buildings.
• Perform cycle counts and other inventory verification as required.
