Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Service Technician II for an on-site role in LaVergne, TN. You will diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and support safe, reliable forklift operations as part of a busy logistics team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment experience.
• Experience repairing forklifts.
• Technical or mechanical training/certifications preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read service/training manuals and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and diagnoses equipment problems and breakdowns.
• Recommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems.
• Performs appropriate repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems.
• Follows all scheduled maintenance procedures and company policies.
• Documents each service call with necessary paperwork.
• Observes safety procedures and properly disposes of hazardous waste.
