Job summary

Central Transport is hiring a Forklift Service Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of electric forklifts, ensuring safe and reliable operations across our nationwide network. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, rebuild components, maintain batteries, change tires, and service brakes as part of our on-site team in Hillside, IL.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift mechanic experience.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Basic set of tools required.

Responsibilities

• All forklift repairs needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Component rebuild and hydraulic repair.
• Perform routine maintenance such as checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery.
• Tire changes.
• Brakes.
• Bolt-on components.
