Job summary

The Taylor Group Inc. is seeking a Power - Service Coordinator for its SSI-Covington facility in Covington, GA. The role coordinates service with technicians, advises customers on service needs, and estimates parts and labor to restore lift trucks to customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift/parts experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience coordinating service with technicians and parts personnel.
• Mechanical aptitude in forklift or related fields.
• Prior customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers and Field Service Mechanics to identify required maintenance.
• Advises customers on necessary/suggested services.
• Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore lift truck to condition specified by customer.
• Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs; enters estimates on service orders.
• Processes parts and/or service sales orders for invoicing.
• Maintains paperwork and records for the Service Center.
• Processes warranty claims and follows through to completion.
• Answers calls and prepares quotes for the Service Center.
• Maintains databases and address books for the Service Center.
• Assists in filing system for Service Center and tracks time for personnel.
• Performs safety-coordinator duties as assigned by Louisville Safety Director.
• Maintains files for SSI vehicles and issues repair purchase orders.
• Audits expenses and purchases; creates reports on service sales and expenses.
• Requests bids for materials and keeps adequate stock for employees and customers.
• Provides orientation and manages company card access for SSI personnel.
• Schedules vacations and leaves to ensure adequate coverage.
• All other duties as assigned.
