Job summary

Snowbird is seeking a friendly, professional Server to join our Wasatch Mountain team. The role covers guest seating, taking orders, delivering meals, processing payments and ensuring a smooth dining experience in a busy resort setting.

This part-time position requires weekend and holiday availability, a strong guest-service mindset, and compliance with health and safety standards. Snowbird offers perks and growth opportunities within a dynamic, seasonal environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent must be met.
  • Excellent listening, speaking and presentation skills.
  • Multitask is a must in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Food Handler Permit and Alcohol Certification are necessary.
  • Candidate must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Assist with setting tables to restaurant standards.
  • Present menus and specials to each table.
  • Deliver food to tables promptly.
  • Resolve guest concerns and questions.
  • Review receipts and assist guests with transactions.
  • Help other restaurant positions as needed.
  • Communicate with servers, managers and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure dining area cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist with restocking inventory and supplies.
  • Follow health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

SUMMARY

A Snowbird Server is expected to maintain Snowbird's values by performing all required duties in a friendly and professional manner to guests and team members. A Server's responsibility is attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their meals . They also ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables periodically throughout the service time.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Great listening, speaking, and presentation skills
  • Multitask is a must
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Job experience is a plus
  • Food Handler Permit and Alcohol Certification
  • 21 years of age
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays. Schedules vary based on business levels.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Must bend and reach while setting tables, clearing dishes
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to navigate a busy environment, with loud noises
  • Work weekends and holidays depending on business levels
  • Stay overnight in case of road closures
  • Travel to Snowbird Resort
