Job summary

The Home Depot in Joliet, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician specialized in forklift repair to ensure safe and reliable operation of powered industrial trucks within the facility. Qualifications

Must have a trade school degree or equivalent in a related field.
Experience with industrial electric forklifts preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/evenings/holidays.
Must be eighteen or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Strong mechanical aptitude and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electric lift equipment and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and necessary modifications.
Provide equipment status reports documenting maintenance issues.
Follow safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
