Job summary

Shearer’s Foods in Kentucky is seeking a Forklift Operator- Receiver to join the Raw Materials team on the day shift 7:30am–3:30pm. The position offers an hourly rate of $20.55 and requires safety, quality and production goals to be met daily.

You will verify materials, scan quantities to and from trailers, and store items according to company standards. Certification in forklifts and related equipment may be required.

Qualifications

• Some warehouse work experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Accepts other duties as assigned, including but not limited to; flexing between finished goods, raw materials and inventory management as needed.

Responsibilities

• The primary function of the Receiver will work as part of the Raw Materials team to ensure that daily safety, quality and production goals are met.
• The Receiver will be responsible for verifying that the correct raw materials and quantities are scanned to and from the trailer and transferred into the proper storage locations.
• Ensuring all storage of raw materials aligns with the company standards and expectations.
