Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Hebron Estates, KY; seeks a Forklift Operator I to safely operate powered material handling equipment, including sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks for receipt, storage and order fulfillment. You’ll play a key role in product safety, quality, legality and integrity.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading pallets, transporting and stacking with forklifts, maintaining cycle counts and inventory accuracy, performing daily equipment inspections, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment, i.e. electric pallet jack and Stand-up/Sit down forklift.
• Must meet all PPE requirements.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors.
• Safely load, transport, and stack materials with forklifts.
• Sort and build pallets to meet customer expectations.
• Apply shrink wrap to pallets.
• Quality control for transactions accuracy.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Maintain storage location accuracy with daily cycle counts.
• Support other distribution tasks as needed.
• Follow OSHA safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
