Job summary

Standard Iron is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift to support production operations in Sauk Centre, MN. You will move materials, manage inventory, keep the shop floor clean, perform basic equipment upkeep, and prepare orders for production or shipping.

We value a positive attitude, attention to detail, and dependability; forklift experience is required. Lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Experience in material handling is a plus but not required.
• Must have forklift driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: pull parts, hardware, and materials for job orders; load/unload and transport materials safely.
• Inventory Management: conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
• Shop Floor Maintenance: keep workspace clean, organized, and safe.
• Equipment Maintenance: perform basic upkeep on material handling equipment.
