Job summary

Newegg is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to support inbound and outbound goods. The role involves operating forklifts or reach trucks, scanning with RF devices, and placing items into correct storage locations within a busy facility.

The position requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort working in varying warehouse temperatures. Prior warehouse experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred, with forklift certification or willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Prior warehouse experience required; forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) through company training.
• Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment to move pallets and products to assigned storage locations.
• Accurately scan and verify product using RF scanners or warehouse management system (WMS).
• Place inventory in correct bin/slot locations according to warehouse layout and storage guidelines.
• Inspect pallets and products for damage prior to and during put away; report discrepancies or damage immediately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by confirming location transfers in the WMS.
• Follow proper stacking, weight limits, and safety protocols to prevent product damage or workplace injuries.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards.
• Collaborate with receiving, inventory control, and picking teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
