Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Kansas City is seeking a Forklift & Maintenance Mechanic to keep our plant running safely and efficiently. Monday–Friday schedule, repair and maintain forklifts and facility systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining Crown and Toyota forklifts, basic facility maintenance, changing oil, troubleshooting mechanical and pneumatic systems, and following all safety policies. The role requires strong mechanical skills and experience with Crown and Toyota equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Crown and Toyota forklifts.
• Strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Crown and Toyota forklifts (primary duty).
• Perform basic facility maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Change oil in forklifts and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain daily attendance.
• Follow all safety policies.
