Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking associates for its Manufacturing department in Georgia. You will perform daily start up and shut down tasks, stack and tag pallets, operate equipment and transport pallets from trailers.

You must be 18+, demonstrate GMP-compliant habits, safety, and be able to lift 50+ pounds. The role requires flexibility across shifts, reliability, teamwork and basic mechanical skills. Training and safety instructions provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate GMP-compliant work habits and safety.
• Must demonstrate safe work habits.
• Must obtain and operate a forklift license.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds frequently.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.
• Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must assist teammates in other areas as needed.
• Must perform steady productive work for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily start up and shut down tasks.
• Stack product when necessary.
• Track and tag pallets.
• Operate equipment.
• Keep machines supplied with materials.
• Transport, load and unload pallets from trailers.
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct sensory evaluations on products and ingredients.
• Complete all required paperwork for the position.
• Additional duties as assigned.
