Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Manufacturing Associate at our Georgia facility. You will perform daily start-up and shut-down tasks, operate equipment, stack products, and transport pallets from trailers while keeping machines supplied and pallets properly tagged.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and adhering to GMPs and safety standards. Strong teamwork, reliability, and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• GMPs and safe work habits required.
• Must obtain and operate a forklift.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily start up and shut down tasks
• Stacking product when necessary
• Tracking and tagging pallets
• Operating equipment
• Keeping the machines supplied with necessary materials
• Transporting, loading and unloading pallets of product from trailers
• Performing minor mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Performing sensory evaluations on products and ingredients
• Completing all necessary paperwork required by the position
• Other duties as assigned.
