Qualifications

• Operate forklift and yard equipment safely.
• Maintain organized yard and shop areas.

Responsibilities

• Unload steel materials from incoming vehicles/load steel onto outgoing vehicles
• Operate overhead cranes
• Know proper lifting, blocking, chains, slings, and straps for safe handling
• Identify damages and report equipment or product issues
• Transport materials to work areas and verify secure loading
• Inspect machinery and perform routine maintenance for safety
• Communicate with team about material status in yard or shop
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Maintain a safe and orderly facility environment
