Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Lancaster, PA. The role involves operating sit-down forklifts, handling food products in a clean facility, and supporting a safe supply chain environment.

Pay is $19.75 per hour with $1.00 extra per hour for Sundays/weekends. Schedule is a 2-2-3 rotating weekday/weekend shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Now offering paid training, benefits, and a potential 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Flexible schedule and ability to work various shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
