Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Forklift Operator in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will operate a forklift safely, load/unload trailers, and ensure accuracy of inbound and outbound items while using handheld scanners for WMS compliance.

Experience with RF equipment and a warehouse environment is preferred. Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, pass background checks, and be willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment that may be non-temperature controlled.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated area.
• Check inbound/outbound items for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly facility.
