Job summary

Saddle Creek is seeking a warehouse forklift operator to safely move goods, load/unload trailers, and verify product accuracy. You’ll use RF scanners and a warehouse management system, perform equipment inspections, and collaborate with teammates to keep a clean, orderly facility.

Applicants should be at least 18, have about a year of forklift experience, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime and scheduling flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently according to safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated areas.
• Check inbound/outbound product for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Additional duties assigned by supervisor.
