Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Forklift Operator in South Carolina. You will load, unload, sort, stage and transport products within a warehouse while collaborating with teammates and following safety policies.

Ideal candidates will have forklift experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and pass pre-employment screenings. The role may require overtime and schedule adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated area.
• Check product on inbound/outbound to ensure accuracy and no damage.
• Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Contribute to keeping the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
