Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Maple Shade, New Jersey is seeking a dedicated forklift operator to support loading, unloading, and mov­ing merchandise throughout the club. You’ll help ensure accurate receiving and safe handling of deliveries while upholding company standards.

Daily duties include lifting, stacking, wrapping pallets, stocking shelves, and assisting Members with prompt, friendly service. A positive safety mindset and training certification are required, with weekly pay and strong benefits

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner and inspects equipment prior to use.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials from delivery trucks and receives shipments.
• Lifts and stacks pallets, wraps and labels, and prepares pallets for storage or shipment.
• Transports merchandise and pallets throughout the club using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks and rotates general merchandise; maintains cleanliness and organization of the club.
• Greets Members and provides prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Supports daily club openings and closings and adheres to company policies.
