Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is hiring for a general yard worker role in Coastal, FL. You will assemble orders, wrap pallets, and forklift-load them onto customer vehicles, while maintaining safety and efficiency on the yard floor.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift experience or certification, with bilingual English/Spanish ability highly valued. You will interact with customers professionally and perform routine forklift maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer order slips, gather correct products by hand or with forklift, assemble orders for customer, leave in designated spot for pick up.
• Safely operate forklift to move completed pallets to staging areas or load pallets onto vehicles.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner to verify orders.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance, including recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in the assigned area.
• Other duties as needed.
