Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking Forklift Operators to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will operate sit-down, stand-up, reach, clamp, and cherry picker forklifts to move, load, locate, unload, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach, clamp, or cherry picker forklifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments and equipment needs.
• Load and unload trailers; move materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately match numbers and letters.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Open and close dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Stack pallets, bins, totes, etc.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Counterbalance, Clamp Truck, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker experience preferred.
