Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) in Westfield, MA. You will receive, select, and load materials and operate a forklift safely while ensuring accuracy of orders and customer service. Work with teammates to meet daily goals and keep the yard and warehouse orderly.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather, and be able to use hand tools and a chainsaw. OSHA safety practices are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, and load materials.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Verify order accuracy after packaging and loading.
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with team to fulfill orders daily.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures.
• Perform daily forklift safety checks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
