Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to join our warehouse in Grand Junction, CO.

You will receive, select, and load materials; operate forklifts safely; verify order accuracy after packaging; and provide basic service to internal and external customers while keeping the work area clean and following OSHA procedures.

This is a physically demanding outdoor role in all weather.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years experience.
• Comfortable with physical work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, and load materials.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading.
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
• Work with team members to fulfill orders and daily tasks.
• Maintain clean working area and safety compliance.
• Perform daily safety checks on forklifts.
