Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiar with ISO/quality systems and safety protocols.
• Certified to operate lift trucks by Georg Fischer Central Plastics.
• Ability to pass Georg Fischer Central Plastics lift truck test.
• Proficient with SAP and priority scheduling.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Accurate paperwork handling (pick tickets, receipt tickets, manufacturing orders, labor cards).
• Reliable, mature, independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
• Inspect safety equipment and guards regularly.
• Perform daily safety inspections per lift per shift.
• Use SAP to scan locations, boxes, and pallets; pick, pack and ship orders.
• Operate order picker forklifts, sit-down/stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks.
• Check inventory levels on computer; prioritize accordingly.
• Load and unload trucks with forklift.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; report deviations.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 requirements.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer service.
