Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. Monroe, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, inspect, and prepare shipments, using barcode scanners and SAP for inventory accuracy. The role runs Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with some weekend shifts, paying $17.50/hour.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, cycle counts, shipping paperwork, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Requires a HS diploma, valid license, and at least 1 year in warehousing; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in warehousing, material handling, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is required.
• Familiarity with SAP, including cycle counting and inventory accuracy procedures.
• Proficiency with barcode scanners and warehouse technology to ensure precise verification of items.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, especially forklift safety and proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to periodically lift and move 30-50 lbs throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy in items, quantities, and lot numbers.
• Pick, pull, stage, and prepare customer and production orders using barcode scanners to ensure high-precision order fulfillment.
• Perform SAP inventory transactions, manage inventory records, and participate in cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate outbound shipments utilizing UPS shipping systems.
• Identify and track product statuses, including Released and QA Hold inventory, ensuring proper lot and item documentation.
• Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment; shrink-wrap pallets and prepare products for dispatch.
• Detect and report inventory discrepancies or irregularities through Quality Irregularity Reports (QIRs).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
