Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Forklift Operator in Sanford, NC to transport freight, stock pick slots, and maintain inventory flow in a multi-temperature warehouse. The role requires standing, lifting up to 60-90 pounds, and operating forklifts with safety and GMP compliance.

Schedule is Sunday to Thursday, shift 2:00 PM until finished, with pay ranging from $16.50 to $19.50 per hour based on experience. Benefits include day-one health coverage and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work with forklift experience.
• Stand up reach experience.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and generally up to 60-90 pounds.
• Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move incoming freight to inventory from staging areas and into storage on multi-level racks.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders and rotate stock.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Remove empty pallets and packing materials to proper areas.
• Inspect pallets and move them to storage using pallet jack or forklift.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
