Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator / Clerk for our Dayton distribution center. This onsite role supports daily warehouse operations through forklift operation, warehouse documentation, reporting, load closures, OS&D processing, and communication with internal teams.

The ideal candidate has forklift and warehouse experience, is detail-oriented, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Full-time schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• RF scanners experience (6+ months)
• 1 year forklift driving with Swing Reach, Reach Truck, & Order Picker
• Onsite role
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Outlook
• AS400 Warehouse Management system knowledge
• Organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking
• Excellent attendance and teamwork
• Full-time schedule including nights, weekends, holidays

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations through forklift operation, warehouse documentation, reporting, load closures, OS&D processing, and communication with internal teams.
• Provide coverage on load-planning/receiving/picking as needed.
• Assist with daily task reconciliation and research on invalid cases.
• Prepare pick sheets for the team.
• Take ownership of warehouse functions and ensure processes are completed correctly.
• Communicate effectively via phone and email with internal and external personnel.
• Promote safety awareness and a safe working culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
