Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Slidell, LA is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator for the first shift (7:00am-3:30pm). Weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a pathway to career growth in a safety‑conscious distribution environment are offered.

You will handle inbound products, operate stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, use a WMS, and participate in cycle counts and packing. A clean driving record and forklift license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Experience operating forklifts and using a WMS system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory control as directed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, etc.).
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
