Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Associate with forklift experience for a contract-to-hire role in Shakopee, MN. The position supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment, using forklifts and cherry pickers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include selecting, packing, staging orders, processing inbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. On-site, full-time hours with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of forklift experience in a warehouse.
• Experience operating forklifts and/or cherry pickers safely.
• Shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory experience.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse computer systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work throughout an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and safely.
• Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Process inbound shipments, customer returns, and inventory transactions.
• Perform inventory control tasks including RF scanning, cycle counts, and location management.
• Verify packing slips, shipping documentation, and order accuracy.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies and shipping issues to warehouse leadership.
• Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
