Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Orange County CA is seeking a retail team member for the Donated Goods area in Brea, CA. Position requires strong customer service, cash handling, and the ability to stand for long periods while assisting customers and coworkers.

Preferred 90 days of sales experience including cashiering; HS diploma or GED is desirable but not required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired, but not required.
• 90 days relevant sales experience preferred, including cashiering.
• Ability to stand for 7-8 hours a day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Basic writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, program participants, and co workers.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the Donated Goods/Retail section.
• Operate cash register and basic store equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety around the sales floor.
• Assist with stocking and organizing merchandise.
