Job description

We currently have immediate needs to fill our Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate positions.

The tasks and responsibilities required of the Warehouse Associate-Level II are outlined below:
  1. Thoroughly inspects MHE for excessive wear or damage and completes preoperational checklists to ensure equipment is safe to operate prior to use.
  2. Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building, vehicles and equipment are communicated to supervision.
  3. Exhibits safe behaviors and practices in the workplace to include wearing required PPE and following safe material handling and lifting practices.
  4. Responsible to follow good housekeeping and GMP to maintain a safe and clean working environment to include cleaning debris from locations, sweeping aisles, cleaning up spilled product and picking up trash.
  5. In the performance of duties will be required to operate a variety of material handling equipment including deep reach and stand-up forklifts, slip sheet machines, stock pickers and rider-walkies.
  6. Uses an RF scanner in a computerized inventory control system to manage product movements throughout the warehouse.
  7. Ability to work independently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
  8. Performs all other duties as assigned.
  9. Replenishment – Using the WMS system, the Level II Warehouse Associate obtains pallets from locations and moves them to designated locations.
  10. Put-Away – Using the WMS system, the Level II Warehouse Associate properly and correctly places product in the generated put-away locations.
  11. Bulk Pick – Using the WMS system, the Level II Warehouse Associate completes the bulk pick function by following the system to the correct locations.
  12. Inbound - Using the WMS system, the Level II Warehouse Associate responsibilities include ensuring the proper unloading of trailers, transporting and put-away of product.
The skills and qualifications required for the Warehouse Associate-Level II are outlined below:
  1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. Previous experience operating MHE and warehouse experience preferred.
  3. Ability to operate all equipment associated with a warehousing environment (material handling equipment, RF scanner).
  4. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work at heights of up to 40 ft.
  6. Ability to work in cold storage (40◦F)
  7. Ability to frequently lift 35 to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  8. Must meet DOT sight and hearing requirements.
  9. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  10. Ability to work daily and weekend overtime to meet business needs.
  11. Ability to work independently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Shifts:
  1. C Shift: Friday-Saturday-Sunday 6am-6pm.
  2. 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 10pm-6am.
  3. D Shift: Friday-Saturday-Sunday 6pm-6am.
