Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operator in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Shift Pay: Additional $2.50 per hour
• Schedule: C Shift, Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday, 5:00am - 5:30pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Dependable and punctual with good attendance
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Flexible schedule availability

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Handle paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Support automated packing systems during production
• Perform other duties as assigned
