Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Minnesota for a temporary-seasonal role. Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping, and receiving inventoried products to meet internal and external customer needs.

Schedule options include 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM shifts; wage is $20.00 hourly. Prior warehouse experience and ability to pass a background check and drug screen are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years experience in shipping/receiving.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
• Proof of education may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship inventory in a timely manner.
• Receive and store inventoried parts and materials.
• Verify materials and quantities; maintain stock counts.
• Operate material handling equipment and related tools.
• Use computer terminals to process orders and records.
• Maintain shipping/receiving records and unload trucks.

This position is responsible for the accurate picking, packing, shipping & receiving of inventoried products on a timely basis to meet internal and external customer needs in support of goals and objectives.
Schedule Options:
1. Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2. Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM and Friday 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Wage: $20.00

Type: Temporary - Seasonal (Possibly longer!)

Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving and storage of parts, materials and products.
• Functions may include preparing parts/materials for shipment, pack material, verifying materials and quantities, maintaining inventory, verifying stock counts, moving parts and materials to proper areas.
• Operates a variety of motorized and hand powered material handling
• equipment as well as scales, postage meters, conveyor systems.
• Performs work from printed order copies as well as various other written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use computer terminals.
• Maintains a variety of records pertaining to shipping, receiving, unloading trucks.

Skills:

• Warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills
• Inventory or order picking experience

• High School - Proof required
