Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating forklifts with weight capacities of 18,000 lbs or more.
• Knowledge of lumber species, widths and lengths.
• Familiarity with Oregon’s Operating Rules for Industrial Trucks.
• Applicants should have verifiable references.
• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift while keeping pace with production.
• Move lumber from yard and stack units by width and length.
• Accurately tally units.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and routine/minor maintenance on forklift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with other forklift drivers for proper placement and organization of lumber.
• Work may be fast-paced and occasionally demanding.
• Overtime may be required during busy production times.
