Job summary

Lactalis USA, Buffalo, New York, is seeking a Warehouseperson to perform shipping and receiving duties in our manufacturing facility, with weekend work and weekday days off. You will operate a forklift, document safety checks, manage inbound paperwork, rotate stock FIFO, and collaborate with production teams.

Qualifications

• Experienced forklift operation knowledge, perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of computer software, inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred.
• AS400 Prism knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and responsible manner.
• Documents safety checks on tow motor prior to use.
• Ensures accurate documentation of all inbound paperwork.
• Completes activity movement sheets daily.
• Rotates stock in a FIFO format.
• Selects the proper product for production needs.
• Maintains a clean work environment daily.
• Maintains and operates the RF terminals daily.
• Works closely with the production departments.
• Maintains open communication between fellow workers.
• Reports any product or property damage to supervisor.
