Job summary

Lactalis USA in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Warehouseperson to perform shipping and receiving, forklift operations, and daily computer transactions. Weekend work is required with days off during the week.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, documenting safety checks, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with production. Proficiency with RF terminals and FIFO processes is expected; HS diploma and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with perishable and dry goods preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of inventory software, cycle counts, and FIFO systems.
• AS400 or Prism knowledge a plus.

• Works closely with the production departments.
• Maintains open communication between fellow workers.
• Reports any product or property damage to supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge of computer software, inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred.

AS400 Prism knowledge a plus.

Education

High School Diploma/GED required.

Valid driver’s license required.
