Job summary

Lactalis USA in Nampa, ID is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support production by supplying ingredients and materials and moving finished goods to the distribution center. You will load/unload trailers and maintain accurate inventory documentation in a fast-paced dairy environment.

The role requires stand-up forklift experience, basic computer skills, and a focus on safety. Weekend shifts and flexible hours may be required as part of operations.

Qualifications

• Stand-up forklift experience (6 months to 1 year) preferred.
• Prior warehouse manufacturing or food industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Heritage / AS400 or similar inventory systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document inventory movements.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to food safety procedures.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator based in Nampa, ID.

Requirements

The Warehouse Forklift Operator (Driver) supports production by supplying ingredients and packaging materials to all departments and moving finished goods to the Distribution Center using a stand-up forklift. This role also includes loading and unloading trailers and, at times, moving product manually. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to ensure inventory accuracy and safe operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.

Experience

• 6 months to 1 year of stand-up forklift experience preferred
• Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or food industry experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge

• Familiarity with Heritage / AS400 or similar inventory systems preferred
• Basic computer skills and strong math skills
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to perform occasional bending, reaching, twisting, stacking, and manual handling of product
• Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts based on operational needs
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, which may include:
  • Hot or cold temperatures
  • High noise levels
  • Dust, moisture, or wet conditions
