Ryder System, Inc. in Chambersburg, PA is seeking Material Handlers for 3rd shift roles. Positions include forklift operation, packing, shipping, and general warehouse duties with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Pay starts at $21.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour premium for the third shift. Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, Wednesday 6:00 pm - 12:00 am; benefits begin after 30 days and PTO accrues from month 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possesses a high degree of initiative.
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
