Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania to join our warehouse team. This role involves loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and operating a forklift in a clean, safety-focused environment.

You will work a Fri-Sun schedule and every other Thursday, earning $23.00 per hour with $2.50 shift pay, plus benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Detail oriented with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
