Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking a Material Handler / Stocker / Receiver to manage daily material handling in our Davie, FL location. The Operations Professional will support sales, merchandising, and inventory goals through effective receiving, stocking, and organization of merchandise.

Forklift experience is a must. You will down-stock reserve items, ensure shelves are faces, assist customers when needed, and maintain a clean, safe work area to help present a ready-for-grand-opening appearance

• Experience with inbound receiving and stocking processes.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to organize stock and merchandise to support store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive all inbound merchandise daily and stock onto sales floor.
• Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas.
• Organize merchandise to provide a grand opening appearance each day.
• Follow priority lists and perform related tasks as directed by management.
• Assist customers with locating items and refer to Sales as needed.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and keep work areas neat and clean.
• Operate forklift as needed.

Job Summary

The Material Handler / Stocker / Receiver with The Restaurant Store is responsible for all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location.The Operations Professional will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective inventory management strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, and inventory teams.

• THIS IS A BRAND NEW location
• 50,000 square feet to service all of our independent and chain restaurants / food trucks / local businesses.
• We carry everything that a restaurant needs (with the exception of fresh, refrigerated or frozen products)
• We are hiring Full-Time employees only
• Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm, Saturday 7am - 5pm, Sunday CLOSED

• Receive all inbound merchandise each day and stock merchandise onto the sales floor
• Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas
• Organize merchandise (front and face) to provide a “grand opening” appearance each day
• Follow and execute the priority list and perform related tasks as directed by management
• Provide a high level of customer service when needed to assist customers with locating items in the store without engaging in sales advisory conversations
• Effectively refer customers to a member of the Sales team to answer relevant questions
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping and/or mopping the floor, take out trash and cardboard
• Keep work areas and sales floor neat and clean
• May be asked to operate a forklift as needed
