Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate fork truck to lift, move, and position steel and heavy material.
• Load and unload trailers and railroad cars.
• Drive and operate the forklift in various conditions and spaces.
• Log inventory location changes into the inventory system and/or paperwork.
• Log and tag inventory received according to procedure.
• Assemble customer orders from work orders.
• Record material information to work orders and forms as specified by management.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Coordinate with multiple warehouse areas to complete tasks.
• Maintain compliance with all safety requirements; safety-sensitive for self and others.
