Forklift Operator (stand up Cherry Picker)

Potential Shifts and Pay Rates:

Day Shift: Pay rate: $22.50/hr

- Front Half Days, Sun-Tues: 5:30am-5:30pm (36 hours/week)

- Back Half Days, Wed-Sat: 6am-4:30pm (40 hours/week)

Night Shift: Pay rate: $22.50/hr

- Front Half Nights, Sun-Wed, 6 pm to 4:30 am (40 hours/week) +$1.50 shift differential

- Back Half Nights, Thurs-Sat 5 pm to 5 am (36 hours/week) +$2.50 shift differential

Purpose: Safely operate assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand-up order picker/cherry picker, and other powered equipment to move products around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately as assigned by supervisor
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to process barcoded products
• Identify and communicate exceptions to leadership
• Follow all SOPs
• Record production accurately and complete necessary paperwork
• Work overtime as needed
• Train and work in multiple areas as required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to attain adidas certification to operate powered equipment including order picker, turret truck, reach truck, pallet jack, and sit-down forklift
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension)

Essential Functions:

• Work safely and effectively for up to 12 hours/day, including talking, hearing, sitting, standing, walking, handling, gripping, lifting, operating, pushing, and pulling
• Work safely at heights up to 40 feet
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures
• Attend scheduled hours reliably
• Operate power industrial equipment safely
• Occasionally sit, bend, twist, climb, balance, lift (up to 50 lbs), stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of forklift operating experience
• Proficiency in English
