Job summary

DHL eCommerce in Ohio (Stow) is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to perform shipping and receiving duties in a warehouse setting. You will read and document pack-slips and BOLs, load/unload freight by hand and via forklift, and follow terminal procedures to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Essential duties include completing forklift training, stocking inventory, palletizing, scanning trucks, logging driver and seal numbers, and performing daily safety checklists.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent training required or 6 months related experience preferred.
• Read and understand tickets, Bills of Lading (BOLs) and logs; follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Stock inventory.
• Palletize products.
• Scan inbound and outbound trucks during loading/unloading.
• Log driver information and seal numbers.
• Complete daily forklift checklist.
• May be reassigned to other areas as needed.
