Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking experienced sit-down forklift operators and high-rack inventory specialists in York, SC. You will move palletized goods across multiple rack levels, perform just-in-time replenishment, and log movements with RF scanning.

The role requires operating at production speeds while complying with load capacity and safety standards. Work hours are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an open-ended posting and benefits package typical of Randstad openings.

We are hiring expert Sit Down Forklift Operators / High-Rack Inventory Specialists who can handle complex pallet movement and racking operations. This opportunity focuses on maximizing inventory throughput and offers a rewarding challenge with great earnings and advancement potential.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform high-level rack work, accurately placing and retrieving palletized goods from multiple rack levels, requiring confident use of the forklift's full lifting capacity.
• Execute just-in-time replenishment of inventory to picking lanes to ensure zero downtime for order fulfillment teams.
• Utilize RF scanning technology in conjunction with forklift operation to electronically verify and log the movement and storage locations of all pallets.
• Safely stage outbound shipments and manage inbound receiving loads, ensuring efficient use of dock space.
• Operate at required production speeds while strictly maintaining control and adhering to load capacity and stability guidelines.

work hours: 06:00 AM - 04:30 PM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)
• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
