Domtar in Brownsville, Tennessee is seeking a Forklift Operator for Shipping to handle outbound finished goods in a climate-controlled environment. This 12-hour shift operates on a 2-2-3 pattern and rotates days and nights every four weeks, reporting to the Crew Leader and Production Manager as required.

You will ship goods, receive supplies, maintain inventory, and keep a safe, clean warehouse while training others and ensuring proper paperwork.

Responsabilités

• Ensure material handling functions on your crew are safe, efficient and timely to support operations.
• Periodically contact your Crew Leader for proper communication and handoffs.
• Ship finished goods and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Receive supplies and store properly.
• Keep warehouse clean and safe; assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Help maintain inventories and report low quantities to the Crew Leader.
• Operate as part of a team and keep unauthorized personnel out of Domtar areas.
• Train others in your classification.
• Rotate older supplies and maintain area for scrap materials.
• Relay shift change information about trucks, roll stock, reams, and changeovers.
• Work safely and communicate with your Crew Leader; ask questions if unsure.
• Follow safety rules, correct unsafe conditions and report to Crew Leader.
• Perform quality control duties and inspect shipping trailers for leaks.
• Assist with production tasks and keep areas clean and organized.
