Job summary

Bosch is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator I to operate press equipment and fabricate sheet metal parts to tight tolerances. This role requires reading blueprints, basic computer use, and accurate MES reporting of yields and production data.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, perform setup tasks on shear equipment, and ensure parts meet specification while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Use of decimals, fractions and scales.
• Complete in plant Brazer training course (should brazing be required for assigned job).

Responsibilities

• Operate press machine to fabricate sheet metal parts to specified tolerances.
• Inspect parts and report discrepancies.
• Enter yield into MES and production log at the machine.
• Set up and operate auto and manual shear as directed.
• Check each part against drawings or first piece specifications.
• Maintain machine, equipment and 5S area for clean work.
• Follow safety and environmental training and wear PPE.
