Job summary

Radius Recycling in Columbus, OH is seeking a reliable forklift operator to support production and store operations. You will stage vehicles, perform daily loader inspections, and help maintain a safe, environmentally responsible workplace.

You must be able to multitask, follow safety procedures, and work flexible shifts with minimal supervision. Prior experience in an auto dismantling setting is a plus, and the role requires adherence to training programs and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must attend retraining classes annually that meet company standards and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Multi-task to keep production flow in store and production area.

• Ability to carry out verbal / written material tasks under minimum supervision.

• Staging vehicles, which includes, transporting the vehicles to and from the staging area.
• Transport vehicles to and from the drain shop.
• Check fluids twice daily to ensure proper operation.
• Use forklift or skit steer while observing all safety regulations.
• Assists in a complete safe production/store environment for employees and customers.
• Ensures an environmentally safe environment.

Physical Activities Required To Perform Essential Functions

• Sitting, walking, bending, stretching are required regularly to perform job function, production, and environmental/safety responsibility functions.
• Able to sit for 6-8 hours per day in two hour intervals.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds are regularly required to perform routine functions.
• Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions as described above.
• Good eye hand coordination and good motor skills.

• Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions.
