Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to efficiently move inbound and outbound shipments within our production and shipping areas. You will perform pre/post-shift inspections and maintain clean, safe dock conditions while following food safety and GMP standards.

The role requires precise loading/unloading, accurate documentation checks, and effective communication with the Shipping Supervisor and drivers to support smooth operations daily.

Qualifications

• Operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks to load, unload, and stage shipments per safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound trailers per BOLs and plans under Shipping Supervisor guidance.
• Unload inbound materials and transport to storage following FIFO and Materials Manager direction.
• Stage finished goods for outbound shipment; ensure correct labeling and organization.
