Job summary

United Felts is seeking a warehouse associate to help maintain organized storage of rolls and pallets and assist shipping with loading and receiving tasks. The role involves operating a forklift, performing checks, and coordinating with supervisors and line operators to ensure accurate order processing.

Responsibilities include setting up production lines, logging returned rolls, and supporting load/unload activities on trucks.

Qualifications

GED/High School Diploma or prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain storage of warehouse rolls and pallets in an organized manner.
Perform forklift checks and report maintenance needs.
Be observant and alert of surroundings at all times.
Keep rolls and pallets organized to optimize space and prevent damage.
Communicate with Supervisors and slitter operators to support production needs.
Set up rolls and pallets for production lines and for the slitter.
Keep a log of rolls returned to stock with roll number, length, width, gauge, and location.
Assist in loading/unloading trucks and trash disposal as needed.
Contribute to a safe, clean work environment following company policies.
