Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and three months of similar tasks, or equivalent experience.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to read work orders and labels and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles and secure with straps or padding to prevent damage.
• Build loads by weighing, stacking, and arranging items for safe transit.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine materials to move.
• Transport materials using a hand truck, electric dolly, forklift, or other device to designated areas.
• Identify items and attach tags or labels for correct identification.
